when it actually overheated). I'm aware of others whose stock gauges "work" the same way, or rather don't work the same way. Have you checked to see if you might have a blown head gasket (not real likely since Z is stock)? You can get some stuff (not sure what it's called) at an auto parts store that will indicate the presence of combustion material in your cooling system. If you want to double check your fan clutch, you can wad up a rag, hold it tight with just a small amount of the bunched up rag sticking out of your fist, and see if you can stop the clutch while the engine is idling.....if you haven't already. I wouldn't install any expensive parts (ie. A radiator) until you get the problem diagnosed. Sounds like a pain in the ass, good luck.
